ABOUT US
The Clapham and Clapham Park Montessori Schools and the Montessori Infant Community provide high standards of nursery education in attractive and well-equipped environments.
The ratio of adults to children is at least 1:3 for children under 2, 1:4 for children aged 2-3 and 1:8 for children aged 3+. These ratios ensure that every child receives a great deal of individual attention.
We use the term ‘Children’s House’ to refer to our Nursery Schools, in accordance with Montessori’s notion of the ‘Casa dei Bambini’ , a home from home environment for children between 2 1/2 and 6 years of age.
Our well-qualified and experienced staff provide a calm and very happy ‘family’ atmosphere within which we aim to help every child to develop to his or her potential.

All members of our team share a love of working with children as well as a commitment to offering authentic Montessori. This is reflected in their dedication and hard work, and in their gentle and caring approach towards the children.
Between us we have a great diversity of interests and skills, as well as speaking a variety of languages, all of which enrich our Montessori environments and enable us to support children from different backgrounds
